Maths Problem Solving Extension

This group of senior children includes the best mathematicians in our school. They meet weekly to work on advanced math strategies and problems. They are participating in the Otago University Problem Solving Challenges, which are designed for Year 7 & 8 students, and they are achieving good results. They will also get the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and the Numberworks O’Mathalon.

We recognise the importance of challenge in a structured and supportive environment.
